โ JavaScript | ๐ JavaScript logging
JavaScript - object logging
To log an object with a nice format in javascript you can use JSON.stringify(<obj>, <replacer>, <indentation>)
console.log(JSON.stringify(obj, null, 4))
Cloning objects
If you log an object and mutate it, it will be updated, to prevent this behavior you can create a deep-clone
const obj = {}
console.log(obj)
obj.prop = 123
// logged object will display { prop: 123 }
const obj = {}
console.log(JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(obj)))
obj.prop = 123
// logged object will display {}
